October 19th Update

We are happy to continue to take all measures to keep our patients and staff safe. Once you arrive for your dental appointment, we kindly ask you to call our office, 614-876-5500. We will then instruct you on the timing to come into the office.

We are in this together!

May 4th Update

We are happy to share we have responsibly reopened our office on Monday, May the 4th.

We’ve spent most of the past weeks preparing for opening utilizing guidance and recommendations from the ADA, CDC, OSHA, and the Ohio State Dental Board. Safety has always been of paramount importance and many things won’t change, but you will see some changes to support social distancing efforts. We are using all sterilization and hygiene procedures to ensure your safety as well as our staff.

We are kindly asking families to wait in their cars in the parking lot until they are summoned for their appointment. We have a wonderful “parking attendant” that will come out to bring you in.

Thank you for your patience during this time and know that we are so excited to safely welcome you back into our office.

April 27th Update

As we reopen our doors following the COVID-19 pandemic, we’d like to say welcome back to all of our patients and their families! Here at Hilliard Pediatric Dentistry, we have always practiced universal precautions in the name of cleanliness and safety for our patients and our staff. Going forward, we will continue these sterilization practices while utilizing PPEs (personal protective equipment) as we have always done. Thank you all for doing your part in keeping us safe during these trying times. A special thank you goes out to our “little helpers” who we have also missed seeing every day.

Be Well!
Dr. Jojo

Effective March 16th

As always, our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients and families – we truly love our patients as if they are our own children so, in this unprecedented time, we are deeply concerned about all of you.

Fortunately, we have not had a patient or staff member present at our office with the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In addition, our practice continues to undertake all of OSHA’s best practices for infection prevention and control as part of our normal, daily routine. In truth, our dental office is probably one of the most sanitary facilities you could be in.

However, today we received an email from the Ohio State Dental Board specifically requesting all dentists to postpone elective procedures at this time. In light of this new notice from the Ohio State Dental Board and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to close our practice until we receive notice that we can see patients again. We believe that this closure will allow us to more effectively evaluate this dynamic situation and assist in the CDCs guidance of social separation. If your child had an appointment scheduled with us during this time, our office will be in touch to help reschedule their appointment.

Our office WILL be open in the event of a dental emergency. Should your child require emergency dental care, please call our office, (614) 876-5500 as you normally would and one of our doctors will get in touch with you to address your child’s needs.

Our administrative staff will also be available to assist with rescheduling appointments or answering questions. You can reach us at (614) 876-5500 and email us at office@drjojo.info

A great deal of care, research, and planning guides our decisions. We will continue to evaluate the situation as it evolves and determine on a weekly basis when it is safe for us to return to our normal business hours. For more information on the coronavirus please visit: https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/

Again, please understand that we are making this decision out of love for our patients, our families, and our team. Please take care of yourselves and your families and we hope to see you all soon.

All the best,
Dr. Jojo Strickler
